Question: How do I get a huge Facebook following like you?

Probably the best case study, if you watched Funnel Hacker TV with the Biohacking Secrets story, Anthony came and we went through this whole process with him. When Anthony got started his Facebook following had two people, his mom and me. Right now, a year later, he’s got 60,000 people. It’s completely grown.

A lot of people think there’s some magic trick, but the key is putting out really good content based ads that are self liquidating, they’re profitable. And people seeing your ads, they will then start following. We have never spent money to build Anthony’s following. I told Anthony that he needed to do a Facebook Live every single day. There are a lot of reasons, but one of the biggest ones is to help you find your voice, figure out what people respond to.

He would do a Facebook Live and put $5 in ads behind it and see what would happen. What people like it, do they not like it. If it started taking off we’d put a little more money behind it. If it didn’t we’d only spent $5 or $10 and then it’d end. The next day Anthony would do another one, and he did that every single day for a long time. He’s still doing it. I told him he’s not allowed to stop until he’s a billionaire. He does Facebook Live’s every single day and we run ads to those. But not every time, not even the majority of the time. You get the right message that hits people the right way and it starts growing really fast.

I remember when Anthony was starting I told him to make the weirdest videos possible. I told him to do it with lights in his nose, or lasers coming out of his ears. So he did those and they never took off. Then he did one that was about how to biohack his vegetables. He had his vegetables in a pan and put a stick of butter in it, and it was the first one that took off. It ended up getting 400,000 views and shares. So we put more money behind it, because it was working. And it pushed people from the ad to a funnel, so we made money on the ads, didn’t lose money. But since 400,000 people saw that, he got 10,000 people to follow him.

And then the next few Facebook Live’s bombed and then one hit again and he got another 10,000 people to follow him. But it all came from us organically pushing content to push people to a funnel.

So for all of you guys, you know how an apple a day keeps the doctor away? The same thing is true for your business. If you want to grow a Facebook following, do a Facebook Live a day and spent $5 to $10 pushing that Facebook Live out there. The one’s that take off put more money behind them. But make sure you’re profitable. It’s not just Facebook Live for your health. It’s pushing to a funnel.

If you go to the Biohacking Secrets fan page at facebook.com/AnthonyDiClementi and watch Anthony’s videos you’ll see some got 400 or 500 views and some have a million plus views. It’s because of that consistency. All of them have a format where he introduces himself, asks people to share it, does a video training, and at the end he pushes to his book. It’s a 3 to 5 minute video every day. There’s the model, it’s done, and it’s perfect. Just model it and use it for your business. And if you do a Facebook Live a day for a year, I will promise you that you should have 50 to 100,000 fans within a year. If you’re consistent with it, most people aren’t consistent.

That’s how we’ve grown our fan page, we’re at 235,000. The other cool thing is we’ve had 1.8 million views on our videos this year. So when I do a video on Instagram, and on Facebook Live, it shows me I had 480 hours watched of this 12 second video. That was a long answer. But a Facebook Live a day will build your following.
